Kyrgyz Republic and WTCF Meet for Tourism Cooperation

On April 13, the Kyrgyz Republic's Ambassador to China Kanaiym Baktygulova, the Kyrgyz Counselor Aseinov Medel and the Secretary Abdkadyrov paid a visit to the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF).

At this meeting, the Executive Deputy Secretary-General of WTCF Li Baochun shared the development of the Federation, as well as its major events and collaborative projects, such as the Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit, academic research and regional forums.

Kanaiym Baktygulova stressed the relationship between the Kyrgyz Republic and China, as well as the friendly exchanges between Bishkek and Beijing. The ambassador attended the 2020 World Conference on Tourism Cooperation and Development. She praised WTCF for building an international cooperation platform and promoting tourism development. Moreover, she thanked the Federation for recognizing Bishkek as a member city and looks to deepen tourism exchanges and cooperation with China via the platform offered by WTCF.
