China Qingdao Dazeshan Grape Festival, originally called Dazeshan Grape Festival, was derived from the temple fair for the God of Wealth in Dazeshan. The Dazeshan township government of Pingdu city designated the 22nd of the seventh lunar month as Dazeshan Grape Festival. This year’s event is featured by “green, passion, succulence, and harmony”. During the festival, besides traditional programs such as opening ceremony, square folk artistic performance, grand prize contest for grape eating and wine drinking, science and technology lectures on grapes, there are some unique activities such as calligraphy exhibition by Dazeshan farmer calligraphers, Dazeshan famous grape display and appraisal, and thanksgiving travel in Dazeshan.
