Visitors can travel to Macau by land, sea and air. You may take a direct or connecting flight to Macau International Airport or transfer to other city routes; in addition, a helicopter service flies directly from Hong Kong and Shenzhen to Macau. Many visitors travel to Macau by sea via Shun Tak Centre (Sheung Wan, Hong Kong), Hong Kong International Airport, China (HK) Ferry Terminal (Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong), Shekou (Shenzhen), and Fu Yong Ferry Terminal (ShenzhenAirport). Land crossings from Mainland China are made through the Border Gate on Macau Peninsula and the Lotus Bridge in Cotai.

By Sea

1) Hong Kong → Macau

Hong Kong has two major terminals that service Macau-bound routes: Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal in Shun Tak Centre located on Hong KongIsland and the China (HK) Ferry Terminal located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. Two companies operate the services: TurboJET and The Cotai Strip CotaiJet™, both of which operate Jetfoils and TriCats.

1.1) Hong Kong Island → Macau

The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal in Shun Tak Centre is most frequently used by passengers. It is located above the Sheung Wan MTR station (Mass Transit Railway) next to a terminus for buses and minibuses from many parts of Hong Kong, including the bus from the airport. The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, the helipad, reservation offices of Macau hotels and travel agents as well as the Macau Government Tourist Office Tourist Information are all located in Shun Tak Centre.
