Hokkaido Asahi Beer Factory is the only place that offers beer factory tours in Sapporo. Tour participants receive up to three glasses of beer for tasting.

Hokkaido Asahi Beer Factory, which produces 50,000 kiloliters of beer annually, is Sapporo’s only large-scale beer factory. The factory offers free 20-minutes tours, during which participants are allowed to taste three glasses of beer. The tour makes a perfect field trip for adults. The factory grounds also features Asahi Beer Graden Shiroishi, which comprises four restaurants that serve freshly brewed beer. One of them, “Hamanasukan,” is adjacent to a 1,000liter beer tank and offers fresh Asahi Super Dry and “Genghis Khan,” a Hokkaido grilled mutton specialty.
