This ski resort features seven different 7 courses for skiers of varying abilities. It is a comprehensive ski resort located near the Jozankei Hot Springs.
Many of the inns in the Jozankei Hot Spring region have free shuttles that service the Sapporo Kokusai Skiing Resort, located approximately an hour outside of Sapporo by car. Among the ski resorts in the Sapporo area, it has a long season starting in mid November and ending in early May. There are seven courses for beginners to advanced skiers and a snow park for sledding and tubing. The Woody Trail and Fairy Tale Trail for beginners is a satisfying 3.6km course. For those who like to mogul, there is a downhill course with a 30° slope. For snowboarders, there is a snowboard park with tabletops and jump ramps. It’s also nice that it’s located near the Jozankei Hot Springs.
