Getting to know Sapporo’s present, as well as its history and culture
With the hope that visitors will get to know Sapporo’s attractions more, the Sapporo Chamber of Commerce Sightseeing Volunteer Guide Association arranges for volunteer guides who take visitors on sightseeing tours throughout the city. Those who are eligible for this service are general visitors (more than two people), people on group tours and business trips and students on school excursions. You can choose a course from three options; walking in the city center, using a bus to go farther to places such as Sapporo Maruyama Zoo and Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium, and an original course that you can customize. The 30-minute mini lecture course that you can take to learn about Sapporo’s history and culture is also interesting. You will need to reserve in advance.
