The Haus Konstruktiv is located in the former Selnau electricity sub-station, one of the most distinctive icons of Zürich’s industrial architecture. The museum is the only such institution in Switzerland, one of just a few in Europe dedicated to historical and thematic exploration of concrete, constructive and conceptual art. The Museum Haus Konstruktiv focuses on making it part of a living dialog with international trends in contemporary art.

On five floors with a total of 1,200m² exhibition area, visitors discover works of art in the context of their historical background in various ways, through changing exhibitions and presentations of collections.
