Introduction: Lingshan Temple is located at the foot of Lingshan Mountain. It is said that emperor Ling of the Zhou Dynasty was buried here, which explains why its front door faces the north, against Buddhist convention. The mountain also received its name based on legend. The temple has since been partly destroyed and only two halls now remain.
