Hanjia Granary was one of the largest official granaries in the Sui and Tang dynasties. The granary covers an area of 420,000 square meters, the size of 40 football fields. More than 400 storage cellars were built with a total capacity of 563,000 tons, accounting for half of the state grain reserves.
