Su Qin was a famous political strategist during the Warring States Period (403–221 BC). Su Qin was from Xuanli of Luoyang in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, which is near Taipingzhuang, an eastern suburb of Luoyang. The schoolyard in the village is said to be the site of Su's Garden. There is also a grave in the suburban area that’s said to be the grave of Su Qin and is located not far from the place recorded in history.
