Yalong Bay Underwater World, covering an area of around 9 square kilometers near Yalong Bay, Sanya, is a demonstrative zone for coral reef protection, development and comprehensive management. It is designed to be a large-scale marine tourism resort featuring underwater sightseeing and other entertainment activities.

The coral reef reserve with limpid water is home to the world's most complete group and the largest variety of soft and hard corals, as well as numerous algae, fishes, sea snakes, sea urchins, and starfish.

Led by a trainer, tourists, wearing a pressure-resistant helmet attached to oxygen, can walk through a stairway on the cruiser to the ocean floor4-5 meters underwater, and can take a stroll by the corals.

In the first-class semi-submersible vessel, imported from Australia that can go as deep as 1.7 meters below water, tourists can watch the corals and tropical fishes right outside the fiberglass windows.

Tourists can go sea fishing in well-equipped fishing boats imported from Australia and enjoy the whole process to their heart’s content.

When parachuting, tourists can jump from an open platform above the vast sea and “fly” in the sky, experiencing a wonderful journey on their own.

Traveling by yacht is another excellent way of appreciating the fascinating tropical sea life in Yalong Bay.

The biggest recreational hotel in the sea, remodeled from a 3,800-ton passenger ship imported from Japan, provides accommodation, dinning, entertainment, and shopping for tourists.

Bus: The Taihe Travel chartered bus 102 can take you from Sanya to Yalong Bay. You can take a normal bus to Tiandu Town in eastern Sanya, and change to a motorbike to the Underwater World.

Taxi: About 25km drive directly to Yalong Bay, and the roads are all well-built cement roads.
