Stage Drama "A Midsummer Night`s Dream" to be Staged in Shanghai

Shakespeare`s Globe Theatre led by artistic director Dominic Dromgoole will bring to Shanghai its rendition of Shakespeare`s eponymous work.

When Dominic`s "A Midsummer Night`s Dream" debuted in London in May 2013, it won rave reviews. It is a comedy good for all ages, exploring profoundly the true essence of Shakespeare`s work.

Shakespeare Globe Theatre Shakespeare Globe Theatre of England is located on the bank of the River Thames in London. Having been around since 1599, it was built by Sam Wanamaker. Most state dramas adapted from Shakespeare`s works premiered here. It stages not only Shakespeare`s works, but also those of the 16th century and 17th century works of the Renaissance.
