Fraport AG has launched a new “Gaming World” at Frankfurt Airport (FRA). Passengers who have time before taking off can now try out the latest arcade games free of charge, including car racing, soccer, fun for kids, dancing, and fitness games. Based on Mircrosoft’s Xbox One console, the Gaming World features both interactive games projected on monitor walls and computer-assisted games on gaming pedestals. There’s something for every age group, ranging from classic Tetris (a tile-matching puzzle video game) all the way to dancing games.
With the Gaming World, Frankfurt Airport is taking a new approach to helping passengers spent their waits enjoyably. Gaming is also a social activity, letting passengers play together or against one another as they please. The first Gaming World is located in Terminal 1 on Level 3 of Pier A-Plus opposite Gates Z54 an Z 56, and more are planned.
The Gaming World is yet another part of the “Great to have you here!” service quality program launched by Fraport AG with the aim of continuously improving the customer experience at Germany’s largest aviation hub. Other examples are the Frankfurt Airport App 3.0 and free 24-hour Wi-Fi for everyone. More information on the many services offered at FRA is available on the Frankfurt Airport website and our social media channels onTwitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
