Market demands have long been robust for the air route connecting Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur, and the passenger load factor has remained over 70%. From April 29, AirAsia will add a night flight coming and going between Zhenzhen and Kuala Lumpur. The newly added daily Flight AK128/9 is taken by Airbus A320.
It will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 22:25 every day and arrive at Shenzhen at 2:15 the neat day; then it will depart from Shenzhen at 3:15 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 7:10. By then, three flights will come and go between Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur ever day, meaning that flights will be available at different moments in the day and at night and Shenzhen Airport will also launch international fly-by-night operations.
According to a well-informed source of Shenzhen Airport, Shenzhen Airport has strengthened communication and interaction with airlines since the airport allowed all-day port customs clearance. International fly-by-night operations will help relieve the pressure of Shenznen Airport in flight capacity during daytime peak hours and allow passengers to have a wider choice of travel time.
