【Introduction】:On April 6, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 32 new cases of confirmed infections (all are imported cases), 12 new cases of suspected infections (all are imported cases), and no deaths.
On April 6, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 32 new cases of confirmed infections (all are imported cases), 12 new cases of suspected infections (all are imported cases), and no deaths. 89 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 2,365 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 54.
As of 24:00 on April 6, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 983 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 285 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 698 confirmed cases (including 21 in serious condition) and 89 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on April 6, the National Health Commission had received 81,740 reports of confirmed cases and 3,331 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and in all 77,167 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,242 confirmed cases (including 211 in serious condition) and 89 suspected cases. So far, 714,720 people have been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 14,499 are now under medical observation.
On April 6, Hubei province reported no new cases of confirmed infections, no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 59 patients (all in Wuhan) were released from hospital after being cured.
As of 24:00 on April 6, Hubei had reported 67,803 cases of confirmed infections (including 50,008 in Wuhan) and 3,212 deaths (including 2,571 in Wuhan). In all, 64,073 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital, including 46,922 in Wuhan. There still remained 518 confirmed cases (including 515 in Wuhan), with 184 in serious condition (including 181 in Wuhan). There were no suspected cases.
On April 6, 31 provincial-level regions on the Chinese mainland as well as the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 30 new asymptomatic cases (including 9 imported cases). 42 asymptomatic cases were freed from quarantine (including 7 imported cases) and 2 became confirmed cases (both are imported cases). As of 24:00 on April 6, 1,033 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 275 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on April 6, 1,331 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 914 in Hong Kong (4 had been dead and 216 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 44 in Macao (10 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 373 in Taiwan (5 had been dead and 57 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
