Michetta (also known as rosetta "small rose") is an Italian white bread, recognizable from its bulged shape. Michetta originated in Lombardy, northern Italy, during the Austrian rule. It is defined as the bread of the Milanese, called the “rosetta” in Rome, and is famous throughout the world gastronomy scene.
