Palazzo del Freddo

Palazzo del Freddo is a century-old shop of Italian ice cream. The dynasty was founded by Giacomo Fassi, who opened a small ice and beer kiosk at the end of the Nineteenth Century in via delle Quattro Fontane, very close to Barberini Square in Rome. He marked the beginning of five generations of ice cream-making history. Nowadays, the shop has about 30 flavors to fully satisfy customers’ wishes. Each of them is produced according to the traditional recipe.
