Flamenco

Flamenco, a symbol of Spain, originated in Andalusia as a dance of gypsies. It combines local ballad and folk dance. Dancers dance with lively, sorrowful, gloomy, or bold sounds of the guitar. The rhythms of their shoes beating the floor touch spectators deeply who appreciate dancers’ figures, wrist styles, and step paces. A group dance is starred by a person, with others clapping their hands to strengthen the rhythm. A pas de deux reflects fascinating emotional exchanges between two people. The Flamenco performance usually begins at 22:00 and costs 30 to 40 euros (with a gall of drink included). All actors appear on the stage at the same time and take turns at performing their unique skills such as dancing, playing the guitar, and singing. Spectators present can applaud and cheer without interrupting actors.
