Shanghai Huangpu River Night Cruise

The Huangpu River is one of the earliest artificial rivers in China’s history, and its main image comes from Tai Lake and Dianshan Lake. It stretches for 114 kilometers from the mouth of Dianshan Lake to that of Wusong River, its width ranges from 300 to 700 meters, and it keeps flowing all year round. This renowned waterfront district is the city's most famous landmark. The night cruise of Huangpu River has always been a classic item for travels in Shanghai. To have a visit of Huangpu River, you can see the most prosperous places on both sides of the river, have a look at the oldest ports, have a walk in the heart of Shanghai Bund, or you can explore the culture of Jinagbei and the new perspectives of the modern Lujiazui. Setting off from the port of Bund, you can get to Sanjiashui, the intersection of Huangpu River and the world’s third longest river, Yangtze River. When you are in the middle of the river, looking across the building complexes with more than half a century separated on the banks, you will have different feelings at the vicissitudes and prosperity.
