Jiangya is famous for its water, and Jiangya reservoir is a fascinating place for anglers, known as “Angling Site for God, Anglers’ Paradise”. During every fishing season, fishing masters gather in Jiangya to compete. There will be fishing masters setting new records here very year.

People often say rivers in spring are blue, but the water in Jiangya reservoir is clear through the bottom all year round, with a visibility up to 8 meters. The water quality of Jiangya reservoir meets all standards of national first-class drinking water based on the testing results of key indicators, which means it’s better than mineral water and pure water in the market. The reservoir is surrounded by green mountains and peaks, making it look like a green vertical-hanging blanket. The road circling the reservoir is like a long belt connecting all farms together. What a spectacular view!

Fishing fun

Jiangya reservoir has high water quality, and offers a wide variety of wild fish, including carp, silver carp, grass carp, black carp, hairtail and yellow croaker. The pure natural fishing environment here is the ideal place for skille danglers, which is much better than farm raised fish. Fishing is a combination of patience, technique and perseverance. Of course, every time a fishing pal pulled a big fish, everybody else would share the joy.

You can fish here during the day, and have fun with friends and dance around a bonfire on the shore at night. The most unforgettable experience is sleeping on the bed in the boat after the nightfall.

Jiangya Town is close to the fishing site, which is a famous place for hot spring. After fishing, you can bring families and friends here to enjoy hot spring, washing out the fatigue of the journey, which is a good choice for health and refreshment.

Transportation: Jiangya fishing site is located in Jiangya Town, Cili County, Zhangjiajie. There are shuttle buses from Zhangjiajie Railway Station to Jiangya Town. Recommend self-driving.
