Shuanglongtan

Shuanglongtan Ecological & Sport Scenic Spot is located in the west part of Kengnei Village of Guankou Town in the district of Jimei in Xiamen. It is connected with the village-level highway, the New Area of Guankou and the Industrial Zone in Guankou outside. Meanwhile, it is also linked to the Xiamen Island and other areas by G324, G319 and Xia-Zhang Expressways. If you take bus from the major people-concentrated places in Xiamen, it takes about half an hour of one hour to reach the scenic spot. Shuanglongtan is the only one scenic spot with the functions of sports. The resources of mountains and water are so abundant in the scenic spot and it is fit for doing the climbing leisurely. Currently, the completed projects include the sites for grass skating, rock climbing, archery, zip-line and parent-child paradise.

[Grass Skating] The size of the grass-skating field in Shuanglongtan Ecological and Sport Scenic Spot ranks No.1 in the east of China and top 10 in China. The field consists of three parts namely Grass-skating Field for Cars-skating, Grass-skating Field for Shoes-skating and Grass-skating Field for Zorb Ball with a total area of 25 thousand square meters. On the grass-skating field, you can not only skate freely on the meadow, breathe the fresh air naturally, but also can roll down in the zorb ball along the slope experiencing the feeling of rolling wheels. You can also choose a grass-skating car to sit in comfortably and drive at a high speed along the slope, thrilling and exhilarating, in order to experience the feeling of racing with the wind.

[Rock Climbing] The Rock-climbing Cliff in Shuanglongtan Scenic Spot is divided into three parts, namely Rock-climbing Cliff for fun, for the extreme sports and for children. The artificial cliff with the height of 15.5 meters at most is covered with dense climbing holds. A variety of routes can be chosen, for example, convex platform, concave climbing, crack climbing and elevation climbing. Whether an easy or difficult route for rock climbing, you should choose one that fits you to train or race.

[Zip-line] Zip-line is also called the “fast slide”, “fast fall”, “flying in the sky” etc. The zip-line of Shuanglongtan is on the viewing deck in the grass-skating field which links the viewing deck with the grass-skating field. The project draws upon the difference in height between different scenic spots to let you slide from the higher place to the lower place at an exhilarating speed.

[Archery] There are four tracks in the archery field in this scenic spot. The arrow used here is recurve bow with advantage launching smoothly. The body of the recurve bow is wooden and the material of arrow is FRP. The arrowhead is made up of stainless steel and the target is composed of high-quality straw. The diameter of the bull’s eye is 14cm; the height between the bull’s eye and the earth is 1.5m. In your leisure time, you can come here and show off your skill of archery in front of your friends.
