【Introduction】:On November 4, the World Travel Market 2013 (WTM 2013) kicked off in London

On November 4, the World Travel Market 2013 (WTM 2013) kicked off in London. Mr. Liu Jinping, member of CNTA leadership, Vice Chairman of China Tourism Association and Head of the Discipline Inspection Group of CNTA attended the event.

WTM is world’s largest tourism exposition. CNTA’ frequent participation has gained satisfactory results. This time, China sent a delegation of 90 members from over 40 organizations of 14 provinces (autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government) including Beijing, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hubei, Henan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Qinghai and Xinjiang.

On the opening day, the booth of China attracted numerous visitors. Mr. Liu introduced the new image of Trip in Beautiful China and development of Chinese tourism. Sichuan Tourism Administration awarded BBC presenter John Craven the certificate of “Sichuan Panda Ambassador”, putting the booth in the spotlight of national media and tourism media and practitioners of UK.
