Beijing museums to bring arts and leisure activities to children

A total of 38 museums in Beijing will stage more than 80 exhibitions and recreational activities to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival for children during their winter holiday, according to a press conference held at the Capital Museum in the city on Feb 4.

According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage, a package of activities to celebrate the Chinese zodiac's Year of the Sheep, including exhibition on the history and art of the "Sheep", sending wishes and spring couplets, as well as riddle competitions, will be organized by the museums in Beijing during the students’ winter vacation.

Plenty of winter camps will lead children to explore the mysteries of science and technology. Beijing Automobile Museum will give lectures on cars and safety in various experiential activities as well.
