Luoyang to open circus center in April

The first phase projects of the International Damaxi (Circus) Performing Arts Center, Luoyang Sui and Tang Dynasty Baixi (Acrobatics) Town Cultural Industrial Park, will be officially opened during the Luoyang Peony Cultural Festival on Apr 1-May 5, in Luoyang, Henan province.

The center is aimed at becoming China’s first large-scale comprehensive cultural and creative industrial park, integrating acrobatic performances, magic, circus performances,exhibitions, trading platforms and tourism. It was reconstructed from the buildings of the Luoyang Normal University-two campuses and one gymnasium, and now is being installed with lighting facilities.
