AGRA 2015 opens today

AGRA 2015 is held under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture and Food, Prof. Dimitar Grekov.

The participants in AGRA 2015 will exhibit:

equipment and technologies increasing production effectiveness, reducing costs and improving yields;

multifunctional machinery and equipment facilitating farmer's work;

land cultivation and livestock breeding techniques ensuring high quality products for food industry;

effective implementation of research findings;

new cultivars of vegetables, fruit and grain crops;

software solutions optimizing producers activities.

The exhibitors present a total of 69 innovative products, including 31 worldwide and 11 European innovations, as well as 27 novelties on the Bulgarian market.

Dedicated to the modern trend in the agricultural sector is the BioAgra Trade Exhibition of Organic Farming. Launched in 2012, the exhibition was instantly recognized as a trade forum bringing together experts and producers.

How to support Bulgarian farmers is a leading topic of the Business Events Programme comprising over 30 events.

All research institutes within the framework of the Agricultural Academy are again to participate in AGRA 2015.
