Luoyang holds world-class circus show

The city of Luoyang, Henan province put on a show themed Suitang Circus Legend at the Suitang Circus City, in Luolong District, on Apr 4.

A total of 12 programs were staged. Among them were 3D light show, acrobatic performance, and comic buffooneries.

The 3D light show kicked off the official start of the Suitang Circus Legend. A total of 450 lightings were used for the show, which was a visual feast for the audience. Thanks to the convenient auditorium design, each audience member was able to have a good viewing experience, no matter where they were seated.

Igniting the audience mood were the acrobatic performances, walking on a tight rope and flying trapeze act. Acrobats' astonishing performances were greeted with thunderous applause from the audience.

Acrobatic performance on Ferris wheel highly impressed the audience. The audience members could not hide their excitement each time acrobats made a move on the Ferris wheel. Some difficult moves such as skipping, turning, throwing and picking up bottles were met by excited gestures by the spectators. Making acrobatics on Ferris wheel was first initiated by Chinese acrobats and boasts the world's first-class acrobatic act that is highly enjoyable to watch.

Flying trapeze act was also staged at the show. It was performed by the North Korea Pyongyang National Acrobatic Troupe. The world's most difficult flying trapeze moves were performed by Bian Tiexiong and Jin Zhongxiao, who made back flips and twists high above the ground look so easy. "My heart is beating fast when they are like flying up there", said one audience.

In the end, performers dressed as clowns added much fun to the ambiance in the auditorium. They wore fake red noses and wigs, performing funny acts on the stage. Spectators could not stop laughter at their comic buffooneries.

In response to the audience demand, Suitang Circus City said that they have 100 different programs, which will be updated regularly.
