Dubai to Expand Cruise Port

In the next year, Dubai will receive 16 percent more cruise ships at its port leading to a plan to increase its capacity reports Gulf Business.

“Dubai Media Office said 157 ships were expected during the current season from October 2016 to April 2017, up from 134 last season,” reports the website .

During that period, Rashid Port will receive approximately 650,000 visitors, which is a 30 percent increase, says Gulf Business. In addition to the expansion, terminals two and three will also be connected via a bridge.
