2016 Sanya Forum Held in National Coast – Haitang Bay, Sanya

With a theme of “Inclusive Growth amid the New Landscape,” the annual 2016 Sanya Forum kicked off at 9:00 a.m. on December 10th at Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay.

Mr. Zhang Laiming, Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council gave keynote speech at the opening ceremony.

This year’s forum was organized by China Development Research Foundation (CDRF), and presented by CAIJING Magazine with support from the Hainan and Sanya Governments.

A distinguished assemblage of leaders from the world and the full spectrum of industries, attended the forum, which included Zhang Laiming, Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council; Fu Ying, Director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress; Horst Kohler, former President of Germany and former head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States.

The conference program featured various panel discussions on a wide range of hot topics including direction for global economic growth, new revolution in the automotive industry, reforms and growth in the emerging economy including China, transformation for private enterprises, improvement of financial regulation and financial market in China, integration of Chinese and western cultures and their development.
