It's very cold in winter in Northern China, and you must make sure to keep warm, especially in the deep mountains like Snow Town. You must wear jackets and warm pants, and snow boots or hairy shoes. In addition, hats, gloves, scarves and sunglasses (to prevent snow blindness) are required.

Protect your camera equipment. Batteries consume fast under low temperature conditions, you should take along three to four batteries along with you; avoid setting the display screen to the brightest setting.

Please be careful when buying mountain products in Snow Town. As there are a lot of store owners from other places, their products are generally expensive, but quality is not guaranteed. Try not to be fooled by their rhetoric. Mountain products of local farmers are recommended because they are affordable and of good quality.
