In the UK, everyone is able to enjoy the freedom in religion, and a variety of different religions are flourishing at the same time. Britain has two "official" churchs: the Church of England (the British Anglican Church) and the Church of Scotland (Presbyterian). In addition, different religions and numerous sects could also find their own representatives in the United Kingdom.

The vast majority of British people are Christians, although the total number of believers who goes to church is declining with only about 1.1 million people each week. British Muslims is the largest non-Christian group (over 1.5 million) in the UK, besides, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Judaism also have a large number of followers, and the number of which are still growing.
