Germany has no state religion, it believes in the freedom of religious belief. About two-thirds of its population is Christian. Among them, the number of Protestants and Catholics are also even, northern Germany is Protestants by majority, and Catholics are mainly distributed in the south. In addition, Germany is also inhabited by about four million Muslim and about 100,000 Jewish people.
