Some Countries do not require visa to Brazil, for tourism or business, for stays of up to 90 days (if necessary an extension may be requested at the Federal Police in Brazil).

Vaccines for Tourists

Belo Horizonte is one of the first cities in the country to have a Health Center for Travelers (Centro de Atenção à Saúde do Viajante). The center offers orientation on contagious diseases, hygiene issues, medications, and recommended and required vaccines.

The center also offers orientation in regards to diagnostics and necessary treatments for those who are planning on traveling, visitors – Brazilian as well as foreign – and health professionals from other units that treat people suspect of having contracted an infection in another local.

Services also include a doctor’s office for checkups by appointment, call 3246-5026 to set up an appointment.

Every foreign citizen has a right to the services offered.
