Regular Visa

Handling methods: by the Bulgarian Embassy handle

Visa fee: 60 Euro

All the information of regular visa should be based on the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria with the following special notices:

1. Chinese citizen who holds a Hong Kong and Macao passport could entry in, exit from or transit from Bulgaria, but starting from the date of entry, the total stranding days without a visa should be under 90 days.

2. Citizen with a valid Schengen visa, long-term residence visa issued by the Schengen states and residence permit meet the requirements of visa exemption policy. The person concerned should pay attention to the validity of documents and number of entry restrictions, and shall ensure to stay no more than 3 months with in a six-month period.

3. According to the agreement between the governments of Bulgaria and China, Chinese citizens are entitled to apply for a visa to Bulgaria for free.

4. Costs related to visa and consular services are required to be paid in cash. After payment, the visa office will issue receipts with accurate amount of money.

5. The visa office staffs have the right to require the applicant to provide other visa materials and ask applicants for interviews.

Transit Visa

The Visa is issued to people who travels to another country through Bulgaria and stays at Bulgaria for no more than 24 hours.

Transit Visa is valid for 12 months starting from the issued date, applicants of this kind of visa could pass Bulgaria many times, but with the limitation of 90 times within a six-month period.
