Cloisonné, a famous traditional handicraft of Han nationality in Beijing, already has a history of over 600 years. It is also called copper padding thread weaving enamel, and the common name is Que Lanor embedded enamel. To make it, first you need to pinch soft flat copper wires to into a variety of floral patterns; second, weld them on the copper jig model; then fill the floral patterns with enamel pigment, and finally bake it. Since it came into vogue in the period of Jingtai of Ming Dynasty, the manufacturing technique is relatively mature and the color of enamel pigment is mainly blue, therefore, it got the name Cloisonné, in Chinese Jingtailan.
