Xingping Ancient Town

Xingping Ancient Town is located on the east bank of Lijiang River, which is roundabout here and flowing down. The picture on the back of 20 yuan is the real scenery of Xingping.

After the essential rafting section of Lijiang River, you will find yourself in Xingping Ancient Town. Compared to the bustling West Street, Xingping is aged and simple. The smooth flagstones worn by the time are the authentic taste of Yangshuo.

The streets and alleys are dilapidated and old, and the town is sparsely populated. You will only hear cock crows and dog barks in the off-season, because of the annual floods. Nevertheless, there are still many villagers and visitors come a long way and settle here, and then stick to this place forever. It’s suitable for nostalgic tourists.

In addition, don't forget to taste the famous "Songhua Candy" in Xingping. Songhua Candy has brown gloss, and is sweet, crisp, fragrant, and smooth. It’s a very popular snack.

Transportation

1, by bus: take the bus at Yangshuo Bus Terminal to Xingping Ancient Town, 20 minutes/bus, the fare is about 6 yuan, the duration is about 40 minutes;

2, rafting: from Yangdi, Lijiang River to Xingping, after landing ashore you will arrive in Xingping.

Xingping Ancient Town tickets: free; the ticket for fishing village is about 10 yuan. (Note: the above prices are for reference only)
