Sala-Chellah is the Morocco royal mausoleum ruins of the Marin dynasty period, "Black Sultan" Abulhasan and his concubine were buried here after their death. However, a major earthquake in the eighteenth century destroyed the whole place.
The Sala-Chellah is now a habitat for plants and animals. Standing on the terrace garden, you can have a whole view of the ruins, about which you cannot help but to lament the power of time.
At the corner of the ruins, there is a pond full of silver eels; visitors can toss coins into the pool to beg good luck and happiness.
