Almoravid Koubba (also known as Koubba Ba’adiyin or Barudiyin), located in a refined building in Marrakech, can be traced back to the 11th century BC. Almoravid Koubba is near Marrakech Museum, 40 m to the south of Mosque of Ben Youssef. It is the only building of Almoravid dynasty that still exists today. It was built in 1117 but destroyed by a building of mosque of Ben Youssef, found by the archaeologist in 1948 and excavated in 1952. It has been repaired twice in the 17th and 19th century. The dome is used for bathing (based on the revolutionary hydraulic pressure and drainage system) before birthday celebrations and is equipped with showers, toilets and drinking water system. Its building materials are marble and cedar wood.
