St. Peter’s Cathedral

St. Peter’s Cathedral is the oldest church in Zurich, before the Swiss religious reform St Peter Cathedral was the only parish church in the city, the rest were attached to the monastery.

Zurich Notre Dame Cathedral

It was founded by Charlemagne’s grandson, Ludwig der Deutsche in 853, which is now a reformed church. Now the Notre Dame Cathedral stands in Zurich was rebuilt in situ in the 12th century.

Niederdorf
