Yangshuo

Yangshuo County is the county under the jurisdiction of Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was established in the tenth year of Kaihuang reign in Sui Dynasty (590 AD). The entire Yangshuo is surrounded by mountains and rivers.

Lijiang River in Yangshuo stretches over 100 kilometers, melting into a whole with its typical Karst landform. Yangdi and Xingping reveal the essence of Lijiang River’s scenery and atmosphere revealed no residual, the Jasper fresh Yulong River, such as an unmarried maiden gentle, while Yulong River is like a young and pretty maiden, and the best way of travelling is by boat. It’s like a picture scroll unfolding slowly, full of peaks and bamboo forests along the way. Different phases of the Moon Mountain, grey slates in Xingping fishing village where Bill Clinton left his footprints, and the millennium ancient banyan where Zhuang singing fairy Liu Sanjie threw the silk ball... All of these will make people stop and enjoy.

During the day, ride a bicycle and enjoy the scenery along the field; in the afternoon, immersed in the landscapes on a bamboo raft, forget the time and where you are; at night, soaked in the well-known West Street, encounter an affair, enjoy Yangshuo snacks, sight-see the Impression·Liu Sanjie... Relax and indulge yourself, and make the life simple and comfortable.

Transportation

1. By bus: (1) take the direct express bus from Guilin to Yangshuo at Guilin Bus Terminal, the fare is 22 yuan/person, departure time: 6:45-20:30, about 15 minutes/bus, non-stop, the duration is about 1.5 hours; (2) there is also bus to Yangshuo at South Railway Station Parking Lot and the flyover, departure time: 6:00-22:00, about 15 minutes/bus, stop in the middle, but only depart when it’s full of passengers, relatively slow.

2. Charter a car: (1) when there are many people, normally charter for a day, the fare is based on tourist attractions and distance, bargaining is possible, the minimum is 200 yuan/day (generally charter a car is not recommended, because it’s easy to be hustled or taken to the wrong place);

3. By boat: depart from Mopanshan Dock, take a tour on Lijiang River, eventually arrive in Yangshuo, the retail price is about 216 yuan, 4 hours;

4. By bamboo raft: take the Guilin to Yangdi Dock bus in Guilin, board the raft at Yangdi Dock, about 1.5 hours to Xingping, then take the bus from Xingping to Yangshuo.
