Pryamid of Queen Sesheshet

On November, 2008, archeologists found the pyramid of Queen Sesheshet. It is estimated that the height of the pyramid was once 14 meters, but was discovered beneath 7 meters of sand. Queen Sesheshet is the mother of the First Pharaoh of the Sixth Dynasty of Egypt, Teti. She played an important role in the successful coronation of her son and mediated the conflicts between two royal families who had opposed each other for a long time among other situations.
