Agdal Garden, located in Medina of Marrakech, also called Aguedal to the south of Dar El Makhzen, covers about 400 hectares (4.0 km²; 1.5 m²). Agdal means meadows with fences in Berber. Agdal Garden has 3 km border (1.9 mile), planted orange trees, lemon trees, fig trees, apricot trees and pomegranate trees in the rectangle land. The two sides of the shady lanes among the trees are olive trees. In 1985, Agdal Garden, along with Medina and Menara Gardens of Marrakech were listed on the world cultural heritage by UNESCO.
