Menara Garden, located in the west of Marrakech, entrance of Atlas Mountains, was built in 12th Century (1130 BD) by Abd al-Mu’min, the ruler of Almohad. The name Menara was from green pyramid-shaped roof of its buildings. The dome was called menzeh in the local language. The pavilion and basin was built in the 16th century, the Saadi Dynasty, and rebuilt in 1869. Abd al-Rahman used to live here in the summer.
