Located in the city center, the Parliament Buildings are the symbol of Wellington. It is consist of three parts and it is called the Beehive because of its special exterior. Finished in 1980, there is the Cabinet room inside. The Beehive has therefore become the pronoun of the parliament of New Zealand. Usually, there are no serious guards around the buildings, so you can take a walk freely. You can even join a touring group with a guide for free tour into the buildings in most of time.
