【Introduction】:Wellington old municipal building
Opposite to the Parliament Buildings is the biggest wooden structure architecture in Southern Hemisphere. The Old Municipal Building is a significant part of the New Zealand architecture heritage with the local tree Kauri being used in the construction. The Kauri forest is protected permanently now, which makes it more special. The first floor is open to the public, in which there is a history exhibition and a translation room. Many representative plants of New Zealand are planted in the garden. The rest of the building parts are rented to University of Victoria Law School.
