You may not know too much about Islam and its traditions if you aren’t a Muslim. But if you pay a visit to Jumeirah Mosque, you will learn something about Islam, one of three major religions in the world, as well as its traditions. This is the only mosque that is open to non-Muslim visitors (it opens for six days per week and women should wear a scarf during the visiting time).
As one of the most beautiful landmarks in Dubai, Jumeirah Mosque is completely built with white stones in accordance with the traditional style of the medieval Fatima Dynasty. The two towering minarets and huge central dome complement each other. This grand mosque can accommodate 1200 people. The whole mosque is under the cover of soft lights when night falls, which highlight the wonderful and exquisite design as well as its elegant beauty and holiness.
A visit to Jumeirah Mosque should be organized by Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding.
