Wucai Beach

Wucai Beach Scenic Zone is situated in Burqin County, north bank of Irtysh River, covering an area of 6 km2. Wucai in Chinese means colorful. This scenic zone is developed by a company from Hong Kong.

Wucai Beach has unique landforms, with Gobi desert and bizarre rocks. It is dry and windy, with many steep mounds and wide ditches. In geology, this is called Yardang landform, meaning steep earth mounds.

Wucai Beach lies on the bank of Irtysh River, the only river which finally goes to the Arctic Ocean from China. This place is especially beautiful in the glow of sunset.
