In 1409 Chinese Emperor asked Princess Henrie to marry Sousa. The princess brought 500 maids, and they settled in Sanbao Mountain. After the Portuguese occupied Malacca, they built a temple and a small church. However these two buildings were destroyed in 1629.

There was a temple which was called Baoshan Temple under Sanbao Mountain in order to commemorate that Zheng he visited Malacca in the history. This temple used the Chinese traditional architectural forms, there is a Statue of Zheng He. Sultan built the Bodhisattva temple for the princess that on the southwest of the foothills. There is a well next to the temple named Han Libao Well. Malacca suffered from several severe droughts. But only this well never dries out. There are the largest Chinese tombs, other than in China, in Sanbao Mountain which is 25 hectares and there are 12,000 graves most of which were buried during the Ming Dynasty.
