It is also located on the top of the hills with the height about 100 meters, which is the highest point in Phnom Penh. Tashan Temple was built in the 14th century, formerly known as Temple of Phnom Penh, also the origin of Phnom Penh. There are a large number of Khmer style reliefs inside the temple. There are two low towers at the gate of mountain. There are two statues of the seven heads Naga snake gods at the two sides of the mountain road. There are a lot of Angkor style sculptures on the arms. If you want to be overlooking downtown in Phnom Penh then you can reach the high temple on the top of the mountain and enjoy the view of Phnom Penh in all its glory.
