Laoshan District is located in the east of Qingdao, near the old city. The southeast is close to the Yellow Sea, Laoshan is the main mountain of Shandong Peninsula. The highest peak is 1133 meters. It stands at the shore of the Yellow Sea, high and majestic. The mountains connect to the sea which is the feature of Laoshan scenery. Among all famous mountains all over the country, only Laoshan is located on the seaside. The coastline of Laoshan reaches a length of 87km. There are 18 islands along the coast which constitute the sea portion of Laoshan. When you are walking on the path of Laoshan, one side is blue sea and skies; the other sides are pine rocks and greenery everywhere. You will feel open-minded and relaxed.
