Royal Palace of Madrid

The official residence of the Spanish king is located on Bailén Street in the center of Madrid. The King Juan Carlos I and his royal family don’t actually live here, but in the smaller Palace of Zarzuela on the suburb of Madrid. However, the Royal Palace is still used for holding state affairs. If no official events are held, the Royal Palace of Madrid is open to the public.
